Crane Safety
Wollongong Cranes believes providing a safe and healthy workplace environment is the most important part of crane hire. At Wollongong Cranes its goal is to continually improve OH&S and eliminate workplace injuries.

Implementing OH&S
Wollongong Cranes conducts a daily audit throughout the workforce to create a safe worksite and to minimise the risk of mishaps on customer's worksites. Through the toolbox method and safety meetings everyone at Wollongong Cranes is involved in the implementation and ongoing improvement of safety procedures.

SWMS / Risk Assessment
A Safe Work Method Statement and Risk Assessment are completed before every crane lift. Through documented compliance and by keeping up-to-date with current OH&S legislation Wollongong Cranes provides a safer working environment.

Induction & Training
All new Wollongong Cranes' employees must undergo an in-house induction course to comply with the company's rules and regulations to ensure they are able to identify any potential hazards within the workplace. All of Wollongong Cranes' employees carry Certification of Competency issued by WorkCover NSW and kept current with on-going updates regarding site requirements.

Mechanics / Servicing
All Wollongong Cranes are maintained and serviced by in-house mechanics to ensure the cranes leave the yard in impeccable working condition. The mechanical service team is on call 24 hours a day to service any breakdowns. Wollongong Cranes has adopted, CRANESAFE, a system designed to ensure and enhance the standard of safety within the crane industry through yearly inspections provided to authorities.
